Nieuwe bloembedden Jacqueline van der Kloet

Not only is the Park Pavilion being renovated inside, but the outdoor space is also undergoing a makeover to better match Zocher's design. In December, under the direction of garden designer Jacqueline van der Kloet, two new flower beds were created at the front of the Park Pavilion.

Thousands of bulbs and perennials

The construction of the flower beds was a joint effort. The entire Park Foundation team and a group of enthusiastic volunteers carried it out, under Jacqueline's expert guidance. Jacqueline was on hand to share her expertise and helped distribute the flower bulbs according to her signature "western-style" spreading technique. This creates a natural-looking sea of flowers that continually surprises with new colors and textures from March well into November.

Return of the prunuses

The beloved prunuses have also regained their place in front of the Park Pavilion. The old trees, which were removed last year, have been replaced by new saplings. In spring, their blossoms will thus once again form a beautiful pink canopy over visitors to the Park Pavilion.
